Update: Please have your posts submitted by the afternoon (whenever afternoon is in your part of the world) of Wednesday the 4th of September. Just send a link to your post to somedaynurse at gmail dot com.

To celebrate the start of my clinical program, KimRN over at Emergiblog is letting me host the September 9th Change of Shift right here at HISMNE. (I know, not a cute acronym, will not be using that one much).
The theme du jour is nursing students. Starry eyed and ready to save the world, we are pouring into your hospitals and clinics eager to learn all we can. This is your chance to tell us how you really feel. I want to know what you love about us, and what you hate about us. What do remember about nursing school? What has changed, for better or worse? Patients and docs, I would love to hear your perspectives as well. Anyone have a story about being treated by a student nurse? Or working with one? Those of us still in school, what do you wish you knew when you started? Tips, warnings, memories or war stories? Do tell!
While you think about it, get over to Nurse Ratched’s Place for the latest edition of Change of Shift. Yee, haw!
