Who needs sleep?

August 31, 2007

It is 6:30 in the morning, and I am awake an hour and half earlier than I intended, and at least three hours than my body would like, because one of my foster kittens, Gabriel, has this annoying adorable habit of walking over my face and yelling in my ear when he is ready to eat in the morning. Usually his path to my bedroom takes him through the water dish (I hope it’s water!), making for cold, wet kitty prints on my cheek.

Never name a kitten after an angel, the universe will be unable to resist the irony of turning him into a demon spawn.

I was up late after Pharm class last night, not because the material was particularly challenging at this point, but I just can’t wind down very quickly.  I don’t feel terribly tired, but I have developed a twitch in my left eye.  It started about two weeks ago and has never really gone away. Sometimes it’s just a flutter that I can feel but not see. Other times, it’s a full-blown spasm. It’s pretty sexy.  Goes great with the dark circles.
